13-12-12 - CHRISTMAS CHEER / BEER – Well I still have to update this blog with what's been happening in the latter part of 2012. But until I get a chance to do that, here's a sneakpeak at some AUX merch to keep your cold ones snuggly!
9-10-12 - LOPAKA / CANCER EYES POSTER – Mr. Riddle, the Riddler, Rza-Dizzle-Mc-riddles, A.K.A. Jack Riddle asked me to do a poster for a series of upcoming gigs for his band Cancer Eyes. This was a lot of fun to do.
29-9-12 - SALT HOUSE CAIRNS LED SIGN – Well this one's been up for a while, but I finally sourced an image for it. LED Sign install for the Salt House restaurant. 1.6metres square, with a nice bright glow and coloured panel for daytime visibility too! Thanks to Visual Technologies for their lighting knowledge and to Rebecca Claire for the great photo!
19.7.12 - THE DESIGN KIDS / BONE MACHINE COLAB DECK – Here's the finished product - my piece for the 'Show Us Your Bones' colab exception being held in Byron Bay by The Design Kids x Bone Machine. (thanks to Sam Tupou for the screeprinting!)
11.7.12 - MOFO x AUXILIARY POSTER WALL – I recently did a retrospective exhibition of my MOFO poster designs at a Mofo party. Pretty freaky to see all those posters up there in the same place at the same time.
22.6.12 - MOFO x AUXILIARY TSHIRT COLAB– These 3 new tee designs were done as a collaboration between myself and MOFO T-shirt Co. Click on the images to purchase. Available in all sizes, men and women y'all!.
27.4.12 - ENTRY FOR "SHOW US YOUR YOUR BONES" COMP– The Design Kids / Bone Machine colab competition finishes today, here's my entry. I gained some inspiration from the game Mouse Trap for this cobbled together zany 'bone machine'.
13.2.12 - NEW SITE FOR KRISTIN TENNYSON– Having created Kristin's first site, I was proud to be asked 2 years later to give it a new look and a fresh style. VIEW KRISTIN'S NEW SITE HERE
20.1.12 - POSTERS / SIGN SKIN c.1907 – This is the results of a skin I designed for this curved sign. It sits in City Place Cairns to promote the gallery just right of this photo.
8.12.11 - SUMMER OF FUN CAIRNS – Over the past month I've been working on the creative concepts and branding for the Cairns Regional Council's Summer of Fun campaign. A whole bunch of events are included and we've even created a 'passport' booklet that people can bring to events to receive prize stamps. An exciting range of tour packages and activities are up for grabs, so make sure you keep an eye out for your copy!

26.11.11 - DEAR ME! – I wanted to call this post "Gettin' Loose With a Moose", but unfortunately it is a dear. We recently went to a friend's wedding in Kyneton, a small country town about an hours drive out of Melbourne.
Who would have thought that I would stumble across one of the raddest second-hand Vinyl / Book stores I've ever seen! 'Long Story Short' on Piper St has a goldmine of classic aussie 7" vinyl (a few of which I grabbed) plus a heap of hard to find books (rare Anthony Burgess to be precise). One purchase I'm extremely stoked about is the Meanies 7" single "The Reason Why" - released in November 1990, 750 limited edition copies - all hand signed! I've been looking for this little gem to fill out my Meanies collection for a while now! Au-Go-Go records deleted their back catalogue so this stuff is super rare man!

25.11.11 - JASON LEE IS A SCIENTOLOGIST – Yep, it's true. I was just reminiscing on that fact recently whilst visiting the threesixty project exhibit at Melbourne's Fed Square. Getting to see some vintage shots of Lee and his compadres getting up to their skating shennanigans a well as a copy of the cease and desist letter that World Industries received (here) for the "bun halves" logo usage was really cool. Also very cool is this pic.

20.11.11 - GRATE JOB! – Cairns has had a darn good year for live music in 2011. Tonight I had the true pleasure of seeing the Grates play at Brothers Leagues Club. These guys put most other live bands to shame. The amount of energy they push out as a 3-piece band (granted, it's mainly Patience) is amazing! VISIT THEIR SITE
18.11.11 - CUNNING BLUNTS – BLUNT EDGE 2011 was another great success. Flowing alcohol, flowing conversation, not to mention the vast and amazing range of artwork on display. Over 60 artist and all worth a look! Here's a sample of my entry (portrait of Sarah Pratt) and also a pic of Jeremiah Johnson rocking the crowd with his tunes. THE BLUNT ONLINE

9.11.11 - BLUNT EDGE 2011 NEXT WEEK!
Don't forget to get down to the Blunt Edge Portraiture exhibition on Friday 18th November.
It's Cairns' answer to the Archibald.... that is, if the question was "where can I go and get completely sloshed and look at some paintings?"
9.11.11 - TUMBLE-TASTIC!
I keep forgetting to mention - I've started a poster/flyer page on tumblr. So don't forget to head over and check it out!
